Great food, great staff. Get the Frangelico Sour for a great drink! Their burgers are great. Sitting at the bar is the best bet for fun convos and quick service!

Great food and atmosphere

I ordered a sizzling fajitas entree. Not only was the platter not sizzling when it arrived, some of the vegetables weren't even warm. The server cautioned me that it was very hot but after eating the not-warm food (my first bite, right when it arrived) I put my hand on the cast iron platter. It was hot, but I was able to hold my hand on it for about 10 seconds before it was uncomfortable.It was a decent quantity of food, but it was kind of bland. The salsa seemed like regular canned stewed tomatoes. We got margaritas and they were both really good.

Service was great, manager chatted with me asked me if I was enjoying the food. My response is absolutely!! Great French onion soup, polite staff. You won't go wrong eating here. I'll be coming back from Albany for this soup. Lol..was really delicious

Not a place to brag about. Food was good but it was very noisy.

We waited 10 minutes in order for them to take our drink orders and then another 20 minutes to finally get our drinks. My friend got her side salad before we got our drinks. The wait for the food was long, it was almost as if the waitress neglected us and waited on the people who came in after us. Someone who wasn’t our waitress ended up realizing we didn’t have our drinks and had to retake our drink order. Then when the food came out we got blue cheese instead of ranch which we had ordered. Which wouldn’t be that much of a big deal of the service was better. The waitress also seemed very forgetful. Never coming here again. Wish I could give them 0/5 stars instead of 1/5 stars!!!

Food was really good, service? Meh!Dropped in on a Friday night around 8pm, place was just starting to quiet down so they really weren't busy anymore. Had the chicken corn chowder and onion rings for appetizers which came very quickly, and were excellent. Then we waited 45 minutes for our food (pulled pork wrap, brisket sandwich), then we had to go find our waitress who seemed deeply embroiled in a conversation with another table, just to get our check. I would have given this place 4-5 stars had the service been better.

Timely servicr and good food especially the fried icecream!

Their quesadillas are the best in the entire county! Sunset Café also has the BEST fried ice cream. I guarantee that will be your new favorite dessert.

First time there, this afternoon, from the time the waitress answered the phone and till we finished our meals it was a fantastic experience, burgers , fish dinner excellent finally found a fantastic place to get food!! Excellent service treated me very nice 👍

Decided to give the place another try under new ownership after last time we ate there that took us 1.5 hours to get food and there were four people in the restuarant. We received our drinks 30 minutes after being seated and recieved my side salad before our drinks. It then took almost a full hour to receive our food. It would be understandable if the place was swamped, but they were maybe half full. The food is good decent, but the service isn't worth it. I don't post reviews often, but this is the second time coming there with less than satisfactory service.

Depending on waitstaff, can be great or the eternal wait for tepid food.

I used to LOVE this restaurant and we actually had many family meals/parties here in the past but the menu just isn't as good as it was. The artichoke dip was amazing before but now it's unimpressive. The wait staff is ok but not great. The margaritas are still yummy but we will no longer be having Mother's Day brunch and birthday dinners here.

Terrible food with the worst service. My visit was earlier, pre covid. It may be the best place in the world now? Don't know? I do know I'm never going back. I wish them well.

A teeny bit pricey but so delicious

First time I've eaten here. Had the Sunset Burger. Delicious... Cooked perfectly. Waiter was very nice and very accommodating. Will go back again.

A quaint little restaurant with a big menu. No waiting, food was good, prices reasonable.

Not nearly as good as it has been in the past. Foodv portions were small, the burgers were over cooked. The plus was our waitress. She wss attentive and provided excellent service.

The nachos and fried ice cream are delicious. but I ordered the roasted veggie quesadilla and how that was ever taste tested and put on the menu is beyond me! it tasted like straight up vinegar.

AMAZING food, service was EXCELLENT!!! As a foreigner, or even a local, it is a MUST🙌👌💪🇺🇸 had a lovely time and prices are legit too... DEFINITELY worth it and WILL GO AGAIN soon!!!

Better than I remembered from last visit which was long ago. Good food and selections!

Ordered takeout tonight as a last minute decision and was NOT disappointed. Ordered a pulled pork quesadilla and a chicken quesadilla. Both were loaded with a ton of meat and very fresh.We also ordered sunset margaritas which jumped in price, but what hasn’t? Margaritas were still true to form in taste and flavor.Great experience and recommend this restaurant for continued takeout , if that is what you still prefer.

Good food, good prices, friendly staff. Service was a little slow for the amount of people in the restaurant, but that's forgiveable. Overall a neat little place that I'm glad we found.

Best Southwest food in the area. Love the Quesadillas, especially the buffalo chicken, its a must every time. Service is great and the staff is the best.

Love this place

So I have been a long time customer and it appeared when the Sunset was taken over by new management months ago that is was a completely positive thing. However, I recently visited and the Sunset and the atmosphere has completely changed. This may be due to the staff/owner being in front of the bar rather than behind it. Consequently their business was mostly in the bar (friends of staff/owner) rather than the dining room. When this starts to happen it never bodes well for business. This may also be attributed to the quality of the food and presentation going downhill. Our drinks tasted nothing like the margaritas we loved so much. I am disappointed because this has been a go-to place for my wife and I, and now we will have to find another place.

Fantastic quesadilla, crispy and not greasy! Hubby had the brisket sandwich, delicious and tender, and the sweet potato fries were to die for! Highly recommend.

Great place to go for quesadillas!

This place has great food, friendly staff and is very clean. The prices are great and the environment is awesome. If you're ever in Ballston Spa, try them out. Located on Front St. Mmmmm

Service fine, food not so much.

The waitstaff was nice, the margaritas are good and the quesadillas were delicious.

NEVER a bad meal. This place should be a gonto when ya just can't decide.
